Himalayan Heaven Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Himalayan Heaven, we look forward to welcoming you to your serene retreat amidst the majestic Panchachuli peaks. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our guests, please review our booking and cancellation policies below. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Reservations & Confirmation

  • Booking Process: All reservations must be initiated through our official website at www.himalayanheaven.in.

  • Confirmation: After submitting your booking request online, a member of our team will contact you via phone at +91 9760763020 within [e.g., 24 hours] to confirm your reservation details and process the required advance payment. Your booking is considered confirmed only upon successful phone confirmation and receipt of the advance payment. issuance of a confirmation email will include your reservation details, booking dates, and payment summary.

  • Guest Information: Please ensure all guest details provided during online booking are accurate, including full names, contact information, and estimated arrival time.

2. Advance Payment

  • To secure your reservation, a [e.g., 50% / full amount] advance payment of the total booking amount is required, which will be processed during your phone confirmation.

  • The remaining balance, if any, will be due upon check-in at the hotel.

3. Check-in & Check-out Timings

  • Check-in Time: 2:00 PM (Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.)

  • Check-out Time: 11:00 AM (Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Guests checking out late without prior arrangement may be charged for an additional night.)

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our small, independent hotel.

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the scheduled check-in date: A full refund of the advance payment will be issued, minus a [e.g., 10-15%] administrative fee or bank charges.

  • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date: A [e.g., 50%] refund of the advance payment will be issued.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled check-in date: No refund will be issued. The entire advance payment will be forfeited.

  • No-Shows: In case of a no-show (guest does not arrive without prior cancellation), the entire advance payment will be forfeited, and the reservation will be cancelled for the remaining nights.

5. Amendments to Bookings

  • Any request for changes to your booking (e.g., change of dates, reduction in nights) must be made in writing via email to contact@himalayanheaven.in.

  • Amendments are subject to availability and the prevailing rates for the new dates.

  • Requests for amendments made less than [e.g., 7 days] prior to check-in will be treated as a cancellation (as per the cancellation policy) followed by a new booking.

6. Early Departures

  • In case of an early departure, the amount for the remaining unutilised nights will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

7. Child Policy

  • Children up to [e.g., 5 years] of age can stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding.

  • Children above [e.g., 5 years] will be considered an extra person and will be charged accordingly.

  • Extra beds/mattresses are subject to availability and an additional charge.

8. Pet Policy

  • We regret that pets are not allowed at Himalayan Heaven to ensure the comfort of all our guests.

9. Force Majeure

  • Himalayan Heaven shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfill its obligations due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters (heavy snowfall, landslides, earthquakes), strikes, government restrictions, or extreme weather conditions affecting travel to Munsiyari.

  • In such cases, we will endeavour to offer alternative dates or a credit for a future stay, but monetary refunds may not be possible.

10. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Himalayan Heaven will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

  • Guests are requested to maintain decorum and respect the peaceful environment of the hotel and the local community. Damage to hotel property will be charged to the guest.

  • Any additional government taxes or levies imposed after the booking will be applicable to the guest.

11. Governing Law

  • This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Nearest major city/district, e.g., Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand].
